Teenage drug addiction treatment has been practicing since 1995 when the first patient from Magadan city, Russia came in. Back then the patient was only 15 years, he had used to sniff glue, acetone and petrol. Since then more than 80 patients aged 14-16 have undergone treatment at the Medical Center of Doctor Nazaraliev. The basic principle is the same as the principle for adults – it is aimed at eliminating physical and psychological drug addiction. More minute psychological work is conducted with the relatives of the patients that do accompany patients during the treatment.
