Good news for all the Russian drug addicts - the world-renowned psychiatrist from Kyrgyzstan Jenishbek Nazaraliev plans to open a clinic in Moscow. The author of a unique method on drug addiction treatment told at RIA Novosti news agency press-conference in Moscow on September 8.
As Dr. Nazaraliev explained to reporters, he thought about opening clinics in Russia in the mid 90's, but then for some reason the project implementation failed. Early in his career, a young doctor was not recognized by his conservative colleagues from the Ministry of Health who considered his unusual method as some kind of shamanism. Yet the doctor himself didn’t want to let his technique into "run".
Now, many years later when his unique method of recovery from drug addiction and alcoholism sculpted to perfection Nazaraliev determined to write an open letter to Russian President Dmitry Medvedev in the beginning of September where he offered his help in the fight against drug and alcohol abuse in Russia. Nazaraliev was prompted by the recent speech of Medvedev in which the president announced his attitude to the rampant alcoholism and drug addiction in the country.
- If there are problems, we can make our contribution in the fight against them. Of course, we are not saying that we will cure all alcohol and drug addicts in Russia, but we will provide our Russian colleagues with master classes, we will recommend approaches, method guidelines in the treatment of such patients - Dr. Nazaraliev said at the press-conference.
The proposal to create a network of rehab clinics in the country regions and in the Moscow-city were announced in a letter. Of course, the implementation of the project depends on the support of the Russian authorities, and Dr. Nazaraliev hopes to have constructive cooperation to help many Russians free from the nets of addiction.
